Dream Morning Musume announce new album, tour

Dream Morning Musume held their first press conference today, announcing their album "DoriMusu ①" and extended tour dates.

Dream Morning Musume is Nakazawa Yuko (37), Iida Kaori (29), Abe Natsumi (29), Yasuda Kei (30), Yaguchi Mari (28), Ishikawa Rika (26), Yoshizawa Hitomi (25), Ogawa Makoto (23), Fujimoto Miki (25), and Kusumi Koharu (18). Tsuji Nozomi was part of the original announcement weeks ago, but has since bowed out to focus on caring for her newborn son.

The album "DoriMusu①" will be released on April 20, 2011. The album will be a two-disc set consisting of remakes of older songs, and two new songs. There will also be a limited edition that includes a DVD.

The Spring tour, "Dream Morning Musume。Concert Tour 2011 Haru no Mai 〜Sotsugyousei DE Saikessei〜" was announced last month, but today, the members announced a second tour to begin in the fall. The Spring tour will consist of 16 performances in seven locations, but the Fall tour will reportedly bring that total to 40 performances at 20 locations.

The average age of the group was mentioned at the event; the current Morning Musume's average age is 17.5, but Dream Morning Musume's average age is 27. Fujimoto Miki quipped, "All I've been doing lately is laundry, so it's been too long since I've sang and danced." The youngest member, Kusumi Koharu said honestly, "At first, I was a little scared. I'm still a little scared now."

Nakazawa Yuko said with a smile, "It's like a dream to be able to do something like this at my age. If you ask me who our rivals are, it's every female group in the world!" Abe Natsumi enthusiastically added, "It's like a dream. We're aiming for the rookie of the year award."

Five hundred fanclub members were invited to attend this event, which featured a performance of Morning Musume's seminal hit "Love Machine".

The press conference was held on an historic day, January 28th, as the original Morning Musume debuted on that date in 1998, thirteen years ago.

Announced at the end of today's first show at Nakano Sunplaza, Takahashi Ai is to graduate from Morning Musume and Hello! Project at Morning Musume's 2011 Autumn concert tour.

In her message to the fans who have gathered at the concert hall, Takahashi stated that she was told by Tsunku last year, at the time when it was decided to have Kamei Eri, JunJun and LinLin graduate, to think about when it would be a good time for herself to leave the group as well. Takahashi held back tears as she told onlooking fans to support the new Morning Musume, as she will do her best to shape the new lineup with the newly added 9th generation members.

When the proposal for Kamei Eri's graduation was made last year,

The 5th generation members will have joined Morning Musume for 10 years.
Takahashi Ai is the 6th leader and has been in this position for 3 years and 7 months.
Takahashi Ai holds the record for being the longest in the group and the longest to hold the leader position.
Looking back, she has honestly carried the responsibility for all this time.

I have talked with her about various things, such as her activities afterward
As announced in the new year concert, her graduation will be in Morning Musume's Autumn concert tour,
this was the right time to make the announcement.

Since there are still more than half a year to go,
the 9th generation members have to familiarize themselves with Morning Musume's music
and dances, to become self aware that they are part of the group.
Takahashi plans to properly finish her job as leader in the mean time.

	After a lengthy audition and weeks of build-up via the weekly H!P television show Bijo Gaku, the 9th generation was revealed today at the Hello Project 2011 Winter concert in Tokyo. But prior to revealing those members, former H!P Egg Kikkawa Yuu made her solo debut, singing "Sayonara Namida". You can visit her official website here. Later in the concert, producer Tsunku appeared and revealed the names of the three auditioners that would be moving forward into Morning Musume: Sayashi Riho, Suzuki Kanon, and Ikuta Erina. After Tsunku revealed the names of those three, he surprised the crowd by adding a fourth member, Hello!Pro Egg Fukumura Mizuki. 	Kamei Eri (21), Junjun (22) and Linlin (19) gave their tearful goodbyes today at their graduation concert, held in Yokohama Arena. Kamei has been a member of the group for eight years, while Junjun & Linlin have been members for just shy of four years. On the 28th it was announced that a new song that has been playing in the sushi chain based in Osaka "Kura Corpo", has become a hot topic in the internet, and will appear on a CD. Music producer Tsunku (41) was in charge of "Appare Kaiten Sushi!", which will go on sale on October 27th. To spread the sushi culture around the world a new female idol unit will be born, called "Muten Musume". (You can expect them, but) who could be the members!?

Japan wants to tell the world about one of their prides, food culture, with a song! This big concept was known since the 13th, where the song "Appare Kaiten Sushi" started to be played in the Kura Corpo stores.

♪ osushi ga naze suki ka, otona ni wakarukai? zarya sugu taberarete, sugu ni manpuku...

An up-tempo song, with friendly lyrics/phrases, is featured for the chain based in Osaka. It's a friendly song for people from adults to children.

On every Kura Corpo store, people were asking things like "What is that song?", "Who is singing it?". And it became a hot talk on internet as well. The name of the mysterious unit has been revealed and it's "Muten Musume".

With the "pressure" (in a good sense) of the voices that talked about the song so much, and the girls wearing veil, it's been decided that a CD will be released. There's still 2 months to go until it goes on sale, but the members/reality of the unit has been revealed. Wherever you listen to the singing voices (of that song), since the group's name has "Musume" in the end of it, it means it's produced by Tsunku, and that it's related to the popular idol group Morning Musume.

This project came to life since the very beginning of this year. The sushi chain shop is related to/depends on producer Tsunku. His "treasured child" Momusu is excluded from this promotion, and it's been decided that it will "Muten Musume" who does all the (promotional) activities (related to this song).

Featuring the favourite food of the 8 members of Morning Musume, new characters have been created/designed, they're attached on this article [see below]. Each of them has been designed in anime style A karaoke clip of the song has been uploaded in the website of the sushi chain shop. Leader AiAi, Takahashi Ai (23) said enthusiastically "As Muten Musume, we'll be helping to spread around the world the culture of Japan's own sushi".

Since the release of Shibugakitai's hit song "Sushi kui nee!", it's been a long time since a "sushi song" has been created. Momusu will build up a new boom.
